You've Fallen for Me made me cry too much

넌 내게 반했어 (Neon Naege Banhaesseo), if translated to English is You've Fallen for Me, also known as Heartstrings made me cry after watching the whole drama.

Up there is one of the official posters for You've Fallen for Me. This drama was under Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation or known as MBC for short. Though this show was just aired recently here in the Philippines via ABS-CBN, its broadcast period in South Korea was from June 29, 2011 to August 18, 2011 every Wednesday and Thursday. Due to my hectic schedule at school everyday (I get off at around 7:30 p.m. from Mondays to Thursdays), I do not have the luxury to stay at home and watch the series which is aired at 2:30 p.m. in Manila and 8:30 a.m. here in Iloilo. And so due to my constant nags and pleads, my mother agreed to buy a copy of the drama in DVD.

I started watching last Tuesday, January 3, 2012 and ended it tearfully yesterday, January 7, 2012. I could really tell that this was the first time I really felt addicted to a drama (I was not addicted with Boys Over Flowers). I mean let's put my crush on Yong Hwa (Lee Shin) aside and let my reason be because of the exhilarating story line and unpredictable twists of events. I must have cried over a bucket yesterday since my eyes really felt sore and looked like they were punched, my nose was also dripping and I really felt bad, emotionally.

I guess I am so attached to this mostly because of the lead male protagonist, Jeong Yong Hwa, who is the Leader and Rhythm guitarist of the South Korean band CN Blue. His character in the story as Lee Shin embodied the characteristics of the boy I would like to fall in love with; cold in personality, loves his family, strives hard with his passion, plays in a band ('Stupid' is the name of their band here), handsome and knows at least one musical instrument. It's hard to suppress the feeling and not fall in love with him, especially of you look him straight into those big, expressive orbs of his. I felt the pain he felt as the drama ascended and the story line started to hit me in the face with the sudden change of luck; Lee Shin getting hurt as the days passes on with his struggles of his feelings for a university professor and then to his feelings for Lee Gyu Won (Park Shin Hye).

What hit me the most were the last episodes, starting with episode 11 I guess. But the worst of all was episode 15 where (SPOILER ALERT!!) he accidentally hurts his left wrist and gets it seriously injured which can only be medicated through an operation. I was so devastated with the turn of events that I was already bawling on the pillow I had in my hands, not to mention my new favorite song (an OST of You've Fallen for Me performed by Jeong Yong Hwa), Keuriwoso... which means Because I Miss You and its super depressing melody, as for the lyrics with translation, I will post it later). I was so depressed that immediately after watching I was so tired and sore that I just went to sleep to replenish my lost energy.

I don't know what to feel right now that I have finished watching the drama (because I really feel empty at the momnt). I am giving it a two thumbs up for a job well done with the story line, especially for making me cry. And I guess I like Yong Hwa's wardrobe for the whole drama, it suits him a lot. I also love Park Shin Hye and am forever supporting her for any upcoming dramas she will be in. Also to Kan Min Hyuk (CN Blue's drummer) for being so funny and made me laugh the whole time, also to Gyu Won's Harabeoji (Grandfather) and his 'long' Traditional Life story. I won't also forget Cha Bo Un's constant disruption of the love birds' moments which Shin has grown accustomed to.

As an over-all, I am giving this drama 100% love from my heart. Neon Naege Banhaesseo fighting!

mood: so depressed and empty, I just want to listen to Jeong Yong Hwa's voice
