Summer started almost a month ago, and I can still remember it, May 17, 2013. And I am such a dumbass because I was too lazy to update even just one post.
To be honest, I've had a very rough summer altogether. After classes of the second semester closed, I only had a week to myself then off to have myself enrolled for mandatory summer classes again which consisted of subjects that is to be used in preparation for bigger subjects in the next semester.
When summer started, it felt like I truly needed it, what with the separation anxiety I've gone through because of the resectioning, anyhow, all is well. I'm going to manage it like I did, six semesters ago. Then, when summer classes were off, here enters my commitment to our local Church, which is a simple teaching job for the kids in our neighborhood. I've been doing this for almost three years now and I don't want to stop. It kinda helps me relax. Teaching is my passion; that I cannot deny. Even after a hard day's work, I find myself grinning to the thought of what lessons I'm going to impart to my pupils today.
Not only that, I am also an active member of the Youth Ministry (actually all of us teaching the Mayflower Catechesis are), and the choir, alongside my two younger siblings. This commitment gave me a reason to attend Sunday masses regularly, unlike two years ago when I'd just go when I feel the need to. Lately, I feel blessed, like life is much easier even with harder obstacles.
To alleviate all the stress away, I've been spoiling myself with books lately. (I'll post them maybe tomorrow, after my dentist's appointment and after I chaperone my brother to music class). Though I haven't got time to finish all of them. Which reminds me of my review for The Fault In Our Stars and Paper Towns. Oh well, life's hard.
Another recent recreation of mine is Instagram. It's an application on my iPod that lets you share photos and edit them instantly with readily-made available filters that can truly do wonders to your photo (My favorites are Walden and Mayfair). It's kind of a photo diary for me, though what I do is capture moments with my mini DSLR then transfers it to the iPod because the gadget's got a very low quality resolution, not very nice and appealing.

| So this is my Instagram dashboard, and those photos are some of the ones I've taken with my camera. And if you decide to follow me, feel free to key in my username, xxhlry. |
Also, I've been updating my fan fiction on Wattpad which is titled 'What Does Not Burn You' featuring Zayn Malik of One Direction. Though, to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of 1D anymore, I've kinda disliked the weird tattoo thing they've been having, especially Louis', and Harry's. But I still love Niall, and their songs.
I've finished downloading House MD on torrent but still forgot to transfer it from the desktop to my external hard drive, I should try that on Saturday, or tomorrow, whichever day's suitable and the desktop's not acting all bitchy. And I have ceased from watching Gossip Girl because the Season 3 I have downloaded is incomplete and only half of the season is present which totally messed up my momentum. And lately, I have been hooked to Nickelodeon's House of Anubis because of Jade Ramsey and Burkely Duffield. They're just cute, and not icky, and just sweet teenage stuff. Plus I love their British accents.
I also wanted to draw and doodle, but every time I do so, I am always tired, or lazy or even sleepy to even start one dot. I hope I can manage tomorrow. As for my reading activities, I am currently finishing Vince Flynn's third novel, The Third Option. Just a hundred more pages to go! It's getting late, it's already half past 12 here and I better get some sleep. I've been practicing health tips lately. Ciao! xx
