Prior to reading, due to its book cover closely resembling that of E.L. James', I thought that it's another one of those erotic, porno for women with BDSM as a main theme (it's been a trend for a while before). Turned out I was only two thirds correct (yes, I was lured into reading romance novels again, more so with erotic genre).
Maybe it's a little too erotic from the normal romance novels I've involved myself into in the past (cross that out, it's not just little, it's really really erotic oozing with mature scenes chapter after chapter). Sylvia Day writes vividly and my imagination really fired up way past our roof. But on the brighter side of the strong maturity of the book genre, Sylvia Day wrote it in a better literary form than what I've read with the same genre so far.
Currently, I am having the fourth book on hold until I get the feel to read it again. Reading from Gideon's point of view makes it a little creepy and I don't like delving into a man's head written from a woman's imagination. *insert obnoxious laugh*
