Fan fiction addiction

As I have mentioned, I am an artist. An all-around artist. I mean I draw, paint, take photos, edit them, make digital prints, write and a lot more. As of the moment I dropped my other talents except for making digital prints and writing. There is this website wherein you can create your own fan fictions and read other fan fictions as well, the only unique point of this website is that it mainly focuses on Asian fictions, specifically centered on Korean idols.

I have been hooked to this kind of thing since the last week of May 2011, basically I have been lurking at www.asianfanfics.com for seven months already. The main reasons why I was addicted to this site were because of my KPOP-addicted friends who are veterans in this sort of thing and they've made a whole lot of good stories and bunch of global friends. I used to write my fan fictions at quizilla.teennick.com but then I have realized that the stories entered there are either of western influence or of animes and mangas I am not even fond of.

The last week of May 2011 was also the week when UKISS had a comeback stage with their 5th mini album titled as 'Bran New Kiss' with the carrier single '0330'. I was mesmerized with the song and the improvement of the group, though sad to say I was still on my mourning stages for Alexander's contract being terminated about four months prior to the comeback. I was really crying and was a sour grape when the video was released that it felt like a sting on my throat when I try praising them for excellent job they did with the drama version, most especially to Dongho. And then the thought came to me like an ambulance's sirens on the highway drifting fast towards the hospital; to make a fan fiction about the drama version of 0330's music video. And so I downloaded the video from YouTube down to my Ipod so I can watch it over and over again to feel inspired and to write the drafts according to the chronological order of the video on my drafts notebook.

A friend of mine who was an avid writer and a veteran of AFF offered to make the poster of my proposed story, and so I agreed and supplied her with pictures that may come in handy with the poster. It looked like this by the end of my 3rd chapter:

I was so surprised with how it looked, just perfect for my fan fiction. And as seven months passed by, I went to college, experienced writer's block, conquered it, read new books to be inspired, checked the video all over again, and a lot more, but as you can now see, I am proud to say that I reached Chapter 15 with 35 subscribers and 1400+ views. What an achievement I'd say. But it doesn't end there as earlier this afternoon, I tweaked a bit for my new Coffee Studio banner, and it resulted to this:

I pray that for the coming year, I'd be more inspired to write more and do more posters and banners for my fan fictions, not only that but I also pray that many will appreciate my work and will subscribe to it.
