One thing I learned is maybe because I'd like to experiment, see what it's like if I try this. Another maybe because it's totally different from the above mentioned sites. I really would love to experiment on HTML encoding and stuff, but I won't be dwelling much on these stuff since I don't belong to a computer department in the university. Yet this knowledge can be very useful in another way even if I'm on the medical field.
And oh, I forgot to mention I am an artist so I guess it's just natural instinct to do this (I also have my fits of frustrations at times that I myself can't even control, glad to think that I'll have somewhere to go to when I'm down and just write them).
Some other personal reasons would be to give information, or advertise maybe. I love to write reviews too, so it would be a great chance to "show off" things here. LOL. And wouldn't have to waste tons of paper just to write. I'd be saving the environment and money. Yey! I'm kind of a frugal person really, if I wanted to though I'm not really earning money, my aunt's been sending me monthly allowance for extra payments while my dad gives me my weekly school allowance. Mom doesn't work outside the house, she's mainly on the house bills and home management, if you get what I mean ;)
Oops. I should mind my manners. My name's Hillary, but I prefer Lili and I am writing a blog because I believe that I need this to hone my writing skills (yes, I am in the school paper and apparently I just started to become a writer because I've been a photojournalist when I was in high school) and yes, I am currently a college student, studying BS Physical Therapy and I dream of becoming a doctor or a college professor someday. Though a lot are against of my inclination to proper medicine because I am the eldest among the three of us and my brother who was born after me is apparently a special child. So it is up to me and my chubby seven-year-old sister to take care of him, a reason I cannot just run around wasting precious time.
I guess that's all there is as to why I want to blog and there will be more reasons coming as I enter myself in this new world.
