Bullying had been an integral part of the academic institution. And although the bullying in Carrie was a bit to far-fetched, but I does happen. But bullies, choose your victim wisely. Make sure you don't pick out someone with Telekinesis.
To be honest, I don't understand much of the movie, such as the reasons of Carrie's mother to shield her away from the world, her reasons of constantly confining her to the closet filled with religious images, and why she'd like to kill Carrie in the first place.
Maybe I wasn't just listening well. Anyway, as to genre of movie, I thought it was thriller, yet my socks weren't really knocked off. I was even bored mid-movie. (No offense Ansel Elgort, I loved your acting)
Chloe Moretz (Carrie) was great actress. I don't need to critic anything. Also to the others. As for antagonist characters, Alex Russell displayed the best, I guess. He's very versatile, from the goody Matt from Chronicle and heroic character from Bait, he knocks me off with bad guy Billy in Carrie. Truly, Kudos.
I plan to acquire myself a copy of this book so I can understand it fully because truly, the story was amazing.
I'm giving Carrie a 4 out 5.
