Reading List #3: Non-fiction Reads for the Semestral Break

My vacation started last Saturday, October 19, evening as I went to the birthday of the office mate of my father and had a glorious evening filled with baked scallops, lobsters and other sumptuous delicacies served to us by our hosts. But my reads for the semester starts today because re-charging had to be consumed full-day yesterday.

The books on my list for the two week off will be:

Living History, an autobiography by the United States of America's former first lady and Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton. I have been interested in her when I knew she's my namesake because my grandfather was a great fan of hers.

I have actually read this before but haven't got the time to finish it. I hope I could find time now.

My Life, also an autobiography by the former President of the United States of America and husband of the previous person to be featured in my reading list. Bill Clinton has also been part of my growing up due to my knowledge about Hillary Clinton. Other than that, I am very much curious of his life, prior and during his presidency. I want to look at it from a president's point of view, it's different since I would be getting a first-class view of his experiences.

OBAMA: From Promise to Power, by  David Mendell a journalist who used to cover for the Chicago Tribune comes up with a biography about one of the powerful leaders of the free world, President Barack Obama. Frankly, I wasn't really a great fan when he ran for President under the Democratic party last 2008, defeating Hillary Clinton under the same party. I'm just interested how he pulled it off, being the first black American to do so. He has earned my greatest respects long before.
