If the first Thor movie was a blast, the second one sure did bested the blast with a bigger bang!
Everyone returns as their respective characters, except for Fandrall, who is now portrayed by Zachary Levi (thanks for my brother because he's the movie character expert). Also, I got to see more of Asgard, some realms from the Nine Realms, and London.
Since Marvel's rebirth of their trademark superheroes, I have never been disappointed with the beautifully-crafted productions. And this movie just proved its worth with the top rating special effects making the movie experience more realistic.
Although Loki signed up for Team Good in this movie temporarily, he remains as my favorite antagonist in Thor's life. I also appreciate the effort of the production team to present Tom Hiddleston's unique talents in this one having him use his 'impressions' to good use, with a substantial amount of puns included.
I never got stressed out of the almost two-hour show because after the heated fight scenes and emotional drama overdrive, I got to laugh in the middle with a few comedic scenes.
Another tip off, don't get off that seat when the movie creds end, the trademark epilogue might blow up some minds for another Thor sequel.
